Thomas Hegarty, currently based full time in Hong Kong is the founder and managing director of Onsavii. Thomas has been involved in building and running commerce websites since 1999 and has been developing and running companies across Australia, Hong Kong and The Philippines in the online space since 2003.

Thomas has been instrumental in building the Onsavii business, managing the transition from Australia to Asia with minimal external funding. Utilising his knowledge of online marketing and advertising coupled with his technical know-how, Thomas has been successful in building Onsavii into a sustainable international business integrator.

Building Onsavii from a single man operation to an over fifty person (including call centre operations) enterprise in peak periods, has enabled Thomas to understand all facets of the business from finance, operations, marketing and technology.


Peter Hegarty has worked as a consultant for over 30 years in Management Decision Support in areas of Technology, Mining, Banking, Health, Oil and Gas and Construction. During this time he has developed platforms for project control and data collection, created simulations and mathematical models for business analysis. He has been involved in the establishment of corporate business measures and knowledge based systems for major International companies.

From the inception of the Onsavii business, Peter has provided many insights into the volume of large data collected. These insights have assisted management and operational staff in making
decisions and enabled forecasting of outcomes.

Based in Perth, Australia, Peter regularly travels to Hong Kong acting as an advisor to the Managing Director.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Mathematics) from WAIT.


Paul Bryan, currently based full time in Hong Kong, as the Chief Information Officer for Onsavii has been involved in the technology space for over 20 years. Paul has been involved in numerous large scale technology projects in various industries ranging from Mining, Government, Logistics and Financial organisations in Asia.

Utilising his talents in designing and developing scalable eCommerce platforms, Paul has been heavily involved in the development, management and execution of most of Onsavii development projects as a developer and project manager of staff.

Paul is responsible for formulating information technology business strategies, developing new technology features and managing the day to day running of computer hardware/software for


Raymond Mak is Onsavii’s finance director. He has over 10 years of experience in financial operations and management in the online industry. Prior to joining Onsavii, Raymond was the financial controller of DoubleClick Asia, a subsidiary of a New York based company engaged in providing online advertising solutions to customers that was subsequently sold to Google. Prior to DoubleClick, Raymond worked for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and another local audit firm as an auditor.

Raymond obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in accounting, from Macquarie University, Australia. He is a CPA, member of CPA Australia and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified
Public Accountants.


Garry Harris has over thirty years’ experience providing leadership and advice to service, retail and consumer organisations in both the private and public sector nationally and internationally. Key roles over his career have encompassed CEO roles at global advertising agency DDB and Professor and Head of Department at Australia’s largest University, Monash.

He has also consulted to a number of blue chip companies in the telecommunications, oil, entertainment and banking fields among others. Garry has also held board posts at leading private
and public sector companies both in Australia and overseas.

In 2010, Garry was engaged to consult to Onsavii in the Marketing space, and in early 2011 he accepted the Marketing Director role and moved to Hong Kong. His role encompasses all global
marketing activities from setting strategy through to implementation for existing and new markets.

Garry holds a Diploma of Business (Caulfield), B. Bus. (Mktg), and MBA (Monash).
